Rendang is a Malaysian staple and favourite dish that graces every feast, festive occasion and housewarming party. Rendang is most aptly described as meat slow-cooked in a variety of spices and coconut milk until tender, it is truly a dish rich in flavour and historical origins.

Rendang Cooking Paste is an aromatic ready-to-cook sauce. Taste with a spicy, salty, sweet flavor plus a selected spice flavor. It is convenient for people to cook rendang quickly. Delicious and best with rice, soft white bread or Malaysian coconut milk rice (nasi lemak). There are no added preservatives and no coloring.

Cooking Instructions :

  1. Stir-fry 1.5kg of chicken meat/beef with 1 packet of MUSC Instant Rendang Paste 200g under low heat until aromatic.
  2. Add in 300ml of water and 300ml of coconut milk.
  3. Simmer until chicken meat/beef is tender and the gravy become thicker.
  4. Add in 100g of pre-fried coconut shreds and cook for approx. another 20 minutes.
