White pepper powder is a fine powder made from grinding white peppercorns, which are the seeds of the Piper nigrum plant. Unlike black pepper, which is made from the whole fruit of the plant, white pepper is made by removing the outer layer of the fruit, leaving only the inner seed.
White pepper powder has a slightly different flavor profile than black pepper, with a more subtle and delicate flavor that is less pungent. It was original Sarawak flavour with aroma and mild spicy taste and commonly used in Asian cuisine.
