Sarawak laksa paste is a popular ingredient in Malaysian cuisine, particularly in the state of Sarawak. It is used to make a flavorful noodle soup topped with prawns, shredded chicken, and bean sprouts. Its rich and complex flavor profile is both spicy and slightly sweet.
Required Ingredients:
1 packet of Leni's Sarawak Laksa Paste
1 packet of blanced rice vermicelli
Bean Sprout (briefly blanced)
500ml coconut milk or 1 can of evaporated creamer (440g)
2 eggs omelette thinly chopped
Finely shredded chicken breast
Prawns
Seasoning (sugar and salt)
Instruction to Prepare:
- Boil the chicken breast and prawns in 1.5 liter of water until well cooked.
- When it is done, remove the chicken breast and prawns. The broth will be used to prepare the laksa's gravy.
- Add in 1 packet of Leni's Sarawak Laksa paste in the broth and cook until boiled.
- Add some sugar, salt or any seasoning as needed.
- Lastly, add in coconut milk or the evaporated creamer.
- Prepare some rice vermicelli and add in bean sprouts, prawns and finely shredded chicken breast and pour in laksa gravy and it is ready to eat.
